360 Degree Videos
360° videos are video
recordings where a view in every direction is recorded at the same time. Also

360° videos are shot using an
omnidirectional camera or a collection of cameras. During playback the viewer
has control of the viewing direction like a panorama.360° videos can be rotated
on the screen, effectively giving you a full view of what is around you.

: An Omnidirectional camera is a
camera with a 360-degree field of view in the horizontal plane.
If
people play 360 degree videos with 360 video player, they can have a control of
viewing direction by dragging the video around. It's a form of virtual reality.
How 360° Videos Recorded
360° video is typically
recorded using either a special rig of multiple cameras or using a dedicated
camera that contains multiple camera lenses. The resulting footage is then
stitched to form a single video.
Watch 360° Videos
To watch a 360 video on a
computer, simply click Play
to start the video as you normally would. While it's playing, you can then click and drag anywhere in the
video screen to change the viewing direction.
